Hi! My name is Johan De Pue. I am a graduated musician and music teacher, with more than 13 years of experience in teaching music.
I started playing the guitar when I was seven years old. Passionate about music, I explored many different styles, starting with classical music, and moving to jazz and world music later on.
After finishing my studies at CODARTS university for Music and Arts, I have been touring a big part of the world with different music projects.
I can't wait to share all of this experience with you, and help you find your way to create magical moments with and trough music!

Reviews from students
"I have been taking guitar lessons with Johan for about 2.5 years now
and never thought I would reach this level at my age (61 years old).
Taking online classes is ideal for me. After my busy day job I don't have to move anymore and I still receive perfect guidance when playing the guitar. This in a professional manner with adapted technical exercises and songs."
"About 2 years ago, without any knowledge of solfège, rhythm, chords, ... in short, without any knowledge of music, I started taking guitar lessons. Fortunately, this turned out not to be a must. The guitar lessons are completely tailored to my ability and my learning pace. The dates and times of the lessons are also recorded according to both agendas. From the start, songs are started based on simple chords and rhythms. It is nice to get recognizable music from the guitar from the first lessons. This was important to me, I didn't want to be overloaded with loads of theory. What I also find very pleasant is that I can create songs myself. Johan then processes this into a feasible score. I have been taking lessons for several years now and it is nice to see that I can already play quite a few songs on my guitar."
Here's a little video which was made at the presentation of an intensive weekend of teaching to students from different levels, at a course organized by the university of Leon (Spain).
